Welcome! Thank you for taking the time to browse my professional portfolio. For those who would like to know more about my personal background, please allow me to introduce myself.

My college career began at age sixteen through Washington's Running Start program. I completed three minors in English Literature, Philosophy, and History, graduating in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities. My husband and I had a beautiful baby boy during this time. A year before I would receive my degree, our son was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This was when the field of speech-language pathology first came into view, and change our lives forever. Years of hard work on the part of my son, his team, and myself allowed him to become an effective and colorful communicator. And in the midst of it, I found my true calling.

After graduating summa cum laude from Washington State University, I completed post-baccalaureate work in the area of communication sciences and disorders. I am now completing a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at James Madison University. My particular areas of interest are neurology and early intervention. In addition to being a student and mother of two young boys, I enjoy volunteering in a variety of local organizations, weight training, and organic gardening.
